The Truth About H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide)

Hydrogen Peroxide is the flamethrower of the hydro world. It kills everything—good and bad—on contact.

Its half-life in a nutrient solution is tiny. Within hours it’s just water and oxygen. If you’ve got a dirty pump or line feeding pathogens, H2O2 will clear it for a moment and the colony will be back by morning.

I use H2O2 for cleaning equipment between runs. For daily maintenance, I prefer Hypochlorous Acid.
